Rev. Bernard Joseph is a dynamic, charismatic, visionary leader and teacher of the Word of God, as well as a critical thinker. He serves as Senior Pastor of Living Word Covenant Church International, a Non-denominational church located in Portsmouth, Dominica in the West Indies. Pastor Joseph seeks to use his God-given gifts and over 30 years of ministerial and life experience to bring about positive and lasting change in the lives of others.
A graduate of Christ For the Nations Institute (C.F.N.I.) in Dallas Texas in 1988, Rev. Joseph has dedicated his entire life to full-time ministry as a Pastor, as well as an Itinerant and Conference speaker, conducting ministry training seminars, crusades and conventions across the Caribbean and North America.
His vast knowledge and experience has taken him into many areas, such as, serving as a pastor of pastors, Government advisor, as well as a Radio Talk Show and Television host.
Ably supported by Gloria, his wife of 27 years, three sons, a daughter and a team of dedicated followers whom he refers to as friends and Covenant partners, Pastor Joseph envisions a transformed world, influenced and impacted by the power and love of God flowing through His people, fully committed to the practical application of Kingdom principles.
With 39 years of Christian experience, Pastor Gloria Joseph exhibits a true love for God and His people and a dedication to her family and the ministry. She has been married to Pastor Bernard Joseph for 27 years and is an avid supporter of and partner with him in the Ministry. Together, they are proud to have raised four gifted children who are fully engaged in the ministry. She is acclaimed for her prolific style of communication and training interventions. Her knack for organization, human resource management and hard work punctuates all that she commits herself to do. Her leadership has been evident throughout the church and by extension the nation of Dominica. LWCCI is honored to have her serve as First Lady.
She is author of the book, Called to Minister, which speaks of her call and journey in the ministry for the first 18 years. She also offers strong advice and caution to those who sense or have responded to the call to serve in Christian ministry.
Elder Aubrey Thomas Sr: – A Gentle yet strong leader, with a strong family orientation. He projects a sense of stability and commitment.
Justina Anita Mills- A well rounded and passionate leader who helps bring a sense of efficiency and focus to the work of the ministry. In her role as Treasurer she ably manages the church’s finances.
Tameka Hyacinth. An Attorney-at-Law by profession, she serves as Secretary to the Board of Directors. Having grown up in the church from a tender age, she is a testament to the proverb “train up a child in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it.”
